My work in the San Gabriel Mountains of Southern California got about 16 inches of snow Friday. Needless to say, in this Mojave Desert area, we were pretty damn excited!
So, my co-worker and I and a couple friends did something not many should do in those weather conditions: we went hiking. Off the trail. We know the area, so we were fairly safe for that reason and we're not morons so we were doubly safe. Here are some icicles that formed and were melting on the Northern Rocks. Yes, the sky is that blue. This will be an 8x10 picture for my art show. Please click here for information on commission and prints Edit: lightened midtones |
