School started again...

I'm not too excited but I am in a way. I want to be done and with my degree, but that won't be for a while and this is a stepping stone to that goal. Pity there's so many stepping stones to that point...

School may effect my photo time and creativity, too. Damn...

Ah, well, only 15 1/2 weeks left...

My two bestest friends got me an Annual Pass to Disneyland!! How totally sweet is that?! And they put it in a hot cocoa packet so it was even sweeter! lol

So yeah, now my mom and I are going to Charlie Brown's for lunch (none of you but Jonathan know what that is, so yeah, just know to be jealous because it's the most awesome place to eat and visit in the World!). Yum!

I survived my weekend trip, and learned several things:
1) How much dirt the human body could hold
2) How much dirt, sweat and grim one t-shirt can hold. What's sad is I surpassed it...
3) I can survive off very little sustenance AND stay in a good mood
4) I need to start hiking with really heavy backpacks
5) I will NEVER take food for granted again
6) I will NEVER take indoor plumbing for granted again
7) I fully appreciate what my ancestors went through and all the advancement our society now has and will try to never take them for granted again

I also documented the entire trip =D As you can see from my gallery =)

In other news...

I've decided to do commisions. Yay! So anyone wants anything done, contact me at my email, green_evans@hotmail.com, or on myspace and any other way that I have down in my info. Also, if you want prints of any of my pictures, contact me. I don't know if I'll like going through dA, so I haven't emabled my prints or anything, but yeah, contact me if you're interested in commisions or prints =)

Okay, an update for you people. Tomorrow, very early in the morning (we’re talking FIVE FRICKIN’ A.M.), I will be leaving the good ol’ desert of the AV for the mountainous Sierras of Kernville.

Why, you ask? Simple. Because I will be on my survival trip. With my knife, two small sandwich bags of trail mix, my wits and my insanity, I will brave and overcome every obstacle nature will throw at me for three days. And I will be victorious.

So, if you need me, I will be unobtainable. You must somehow carry on without me until Sunday, when I will once again join civilization. I will have my cell phone in my car, and will check and respond to any messages left for me, signal provided. Unless I don’t want to, then I won’t =) And, of course, there's messages here and on myspace.

Wish me luck. Though I believe I’ll be safer than any of you in the city.

Until Sunday…
